Created by the world famous Murder Mystery Company and the genius of our leader Scott Crampton, our troupe of actors will not only have you on the edge of your seat, you will be out of your seat and involved! You may land up being one of the main characters, you may be asked to sing, or assist the detective...the requests are endless, but you will be part of it all.

Better than a game of Clue come to life, you will actually interrogate suspects, find clues and ultimately solve the murder...

Many of our activities will take place in the Grand Ballroom, but others will take place through out the hotel.

Keep in mind, as grand as the murder is, the food is possibly even better. The cast jokes that everything at the Grand Hotel stops for food and we possibly are correct. Join us in October for an interactive Murder Mystery Weekend brought to you by The Murder Mystery Company, founded in Michigan. The intrigue begins Friday night and the crime is solved Sunday morning. 2021 Murder Mystery Weekend Theme: What happened in 1887? This invite comes from somebody with murder on their mind. The year is 1887, and you are invited to the opening of Grand Hotel, located on Mackinac Island in northern Michigan. Your invitation promises plenty of excitement and intrigue. However, beyond the glitz and glamour of this event lies something more sinister. You and your party play the detective in this interactive game of mystery and murder behind the closed doors of Grand Hotel. What happened in 1887? Investigate the scene of the crime, interrogate suspects, and solve a murder. This one-of-a-kind event promises to be nothing short of a “Grand” ol’ time. After celebrating the roaring twenties we are ready to provide guests with another exciting time to remember in 2021. Upon check-in, receive your first packet of information and clues. Friday is the kick-off performance, which sets the tone of events and when the first murder takes place. On Saturday, there is a brief gathering with the Detective, who explains the hunt for clues. (This also allows you some time on your own to enjoy the beauty of Mackinac Island and Grand Hotel.) Come back on Saturday afternoon, when Act II is performed and another murder takes place.
