I love the idea of sharing libraries...people literally put their books out to give away.

Often people take a book and leave a book...

Some of the little sharing libraries are very clever...

And it is a fun way for children to get a book...

This is my idea of repurposing something...

I would like this in my front yard...

But your little free library does not have to be fancy...

I love the combination ivy and books...

My friends Dianne and John Hollister have one in their yard. Dianne is a former librarian and her heart is in the right spot. Books are in her blood.

If you see a little library, indulge. Or better yet, leave some of those books you have that you will never read again.

There is nothing like the feel of a book in your hands. Hope you spot a little library...
