Roses, easier than you might think...

We have lovely ever blooming roses at our tea room. Trust me when I say we do very little to them. We dead head so they keep blooming. We trim off truly dead (black) bits That is about it. We do not cover them in the winter. We do not feed them. We just enjoy them.
We purchase all our roses from the Antique Rose Emporium in Texas. We also get advice from them as to exactly what we want (climbers) and what will be hardy in the middle of Illinois (can drop to below zero) . They have been right on with every order.
All roses come potted so you are not shocked to open a box with a 'sleeping' plant. Though this may sound like a commercial for them, it in fact, is just an endorsement for a great company.
